Every great idea begins somewhere. Ours begins with the Caspian Sea.

For centuries, the Caspian has stood apart. It is something of its own — unique in its nature, its history and its place in the world. And because it did not fit neatly within an existing definition, it could not simply be governed by any established framework. 

The Caspian needed rules of its own — shaped through dialogue, diplomacy and agreement between those who share its shores.
That idea brings us to Nomos. At its heart, Nomos is about creating order where there is no established one. It is about recognising when the usual way is not enough and finding a way that works for what is different.

Caspi Nomos brings these two ideas together. It reflects our belief that when a situation is unique, the legal solution should be too.
That is how we approach our work. We do not look for a ready-made answer simply because one already exists. We first understand what makes a matter different, then build the legal solution around it — with clarity, intention and precision.
That is where we begin — where the usual path ends.
